Here’s the situation: You’re trying something bold…daring…presumed impossible…a bit outlandish…and someone says “Come on…be real!” or “Wait a minute, we need to be realistic about this!”

Catch the words “real” and “realistic.”

Whose reality? What is real? Who defines real? Who gets to determine what is real?

For those of us who live for the God of the Bible, our reality is defined by God…and it’s a very very different reality than for those who don’t live for the God of the Bible. We have capacity to live a supernatural life…really.

God tells His people (followers of Jesus) in Colossians 3:1 to determine our realities based on the realities of heaven. Very very different than the realities of earth.

Questions for you…What are those realities?…What are the differences between the “realities of heaven” and the “realities of earth”?…Which realities are determining your life (here and after you die)?
