“Hey, wanna hear a secret?”

What’s your secret?

Have a few of them?

You have “closet sins” you don’t want to share? Know some things about yourself that others don’t…those “dark secrets”…that you don’t dare share?

Do yourself a favor…share these with God.

God says…

Even Death and Destruction hold no secrets from the Lord. How much more does he know the human heart! Proverbs 15:11

He already knows your secrets anyway. He’s in the closet. He knows your heart. He can read your mind. There is no hiding from Him.

And here’s the great news…He can handle it…and can help you. With grace. He is the One who blesses…who gives the ability to experience love, joy, peace…and other attributes that add so much goodness to life (Galatians 5:22-23).

He’s also the One Who gives freedom…total freedom (John 8:31-32). He can free you from the prison your secret has you in. You don’t have to tell the world. But tell Him. Come clean with Him. Live open to God and let Him help. Over time, He will give you a freedom from your “dark secret” that no one else (or nothing else) can give.
