You want it all?

How much is it worth to you?

Should you go for it all, even if you could have it all?

For Christians, there are bigger things at stake.

Jesus had a chance to have it all…and gave up the option…for something better…

Check this out…

“…the devil took [Jesus] to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. ‘All this I will give you,’ he said, ‘if you will bow down and worship me.'” Matthew 4:8-9

Jesus could have had it all during His time on Earth…Power, Fame, Wealth, Accomplishment, Influence…ALL!!!…

Yet, He said…

“‘Away from me, Satan!’ For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’” Matthew 4:10

Wow!

Jesus knew more was at stake than chasing His own dream of “having it all.” He turned down the offer. For a better option. God, His Father’s option.

Jesus knew that The Father’s desires, dreams and plans were far better than His own…and that eternal implications hung in the balance. And He was willing to surrender His own opportunity to “have it all” so that His Father could have His way in and through Him.

How about you?

You chasing YOUR dream of having it all? Or allowing God to have His way in you and through you…to possibly impact a world around you for good? 

I challenge you. Inspect your life. Who are you living for…yourself…or God? Who’s dream are you living…yours or Gods? It matters. The stakes are high!! Eternal in fact! Don’t let “having it all” rob you of Your Creator’s best life for you. His Life by Design for you!
