Stunning story in Matthew 20:29-34.

Two blind men recognize Jesus on the scene.

They have the gumption to ask Him for their sight.

The crowd tries to shut them up. 

But they persist.

Jesus stops. Listens. Grants their request. “Immediately” they see.

Wow! Just like that.

A few observations:

These guys knew who Jesus was (“Lord, Son of David”).

They also knew they didn’t deserve anything from Him (“have mercy on us”).

Yet, they Dared to Ask for something…BIG….their sight….and got it…both of them.

Wonder how many others in the crowd dared to ask for something that day?

Another interesting observation…Jesus asked the blind men “What do you want me to do for you?” 

Hmmm. BIG question! 

How would you answer that?

If you stood before God…who would do anything for you…in an instant…what would you ask for?

You know Jesus well enough to ask Him for something BIG in your life…and expect to get it?

You living your life in such a way (aligned w God’s ways) that you can have confidence that God will answer your prayers (1 John 5:14-15)?

The opportunity is there waiting for you…Dare to Ask…and watch God rock your world!
