A mentor once told me “Wisdom is ‘skillful living.’”

I love that definition. Don’t know about you, but I want some of that.

Want to know how to “live skillfully”? (Me too!!) Then, get wisdom.

So, where do I get this wisdom? Great question. Glad you asked it.

Let’s take a “Truth Tip” from God…

“The wise are mightier than the strong, and those with knowledge grow stronger and stronger.

So don’t go to war without wise guidance; victory depends on having many advisers.” (Prov 24:5-6)

God has given many advisors/mentors/coaches/teachers to guide us. Listening to and learning from them, we have a chance to become wise.

I have been reading and reflecting on a great book over the holiday season. Got the book for $2 on Kindle.

Pastor Cordeiro’s (@waynecordeiro) whole thesis is “gaining wisdom” from others.

So…wisdom is available…and great mentors are available…to help us get wisdom. Now, it’s up to us. To do what it takes to “get wisdom” and put it to work in our lives.
